Inspired by the links that bring together different cultures, the Parisian brand offers us a premium version of the 1986 model.
The Air Jordan 2 Retro SP Maison Château Rouge United Youth National features a full-grain leather base in an off-white hue . Several embossed details sublimate the upper and refer to scarification , an aesthetic custom present among several ethnic groups in West Africa . Brogue-style perforations surround the upper and accompany the triangular cutouts. The back and toe of the pair feature orange suede overlays that take inspiration from SBB colorways. The whole thing rests on a beige speckle sole with a brown insole, personalized in the manner of a commemorative loincloth ( wax ).
A true ode to youth around the world, it is part of the United Youth National collection which promotes the history of the Franco-African community with inspirations ranging from Chicago to Dakar via Paris !
