The Air Jordan 1 Retro High is one, if not THE essential silhouette for sneakerheads. Paying homage to this legendary model created by Peter Moore , Jordan releases a version full of irony, since the pair makes fun of the sneaker resell market in which it is very widely represented.
This model called No L's or "Not for Resale" is dressed in the colors of the Chicago version of the Air Jordan 1, a black and white base and red inserts. The humorous aspect of the pair is in the inscriptions on the heel, "No Photo" in reference to the high media coverage of the sneakers and in the inscriptions "Not for Resale" and "Wear Me" which are respectively placed on the outsole and on the tongue, ironically indicating that the bulk of the sneaker market is in buy-back and resell.
