The Air Jordan 9 Retro Particle Gray unveils a black synthetic base. Gray leather overlays feature from the mudguard, to the heel, to the collar. Touches of red stand out on the brandings of the tongue and the heel tab while the Jumpman logos on the white outsole and the 23 of the heel match the upper of the model.
Jordan Brand brings up to date the model released at the time of Michael Jordan 's first retirement and present at his feet on his statue in front of the United Center in Chicago .
