As the 30th anniversary of the Nike Air Max 90 approaches, Nike is releasing an unprecedented iteration of the iconic model designed by Tinker Hatfield . This release, the Nike Air Max 90 New Species features a futuristic design inspired by animal prints and more specifically reptile skin.
The Nike Air Max 90 New Species is mainly composed of a combination of light gray smooth suede and nubuck with a tone-on-tone reptilian print. There are touches of soft beige on the upper eyelets as well as on the inside of the pair. To break with the sobriety of the upper, the swoosh as well as the translucent sole are adorned with fluorescent green.
